A Youtuber put up a video showing “New Moon”,”Twilight” star Kristen Stewart on the set of her new true life film “The Runaways” where she plays Joan Jett who was the founder of the pioneering all girl band rock group back in the 1970′s. The video shows her running down the street in her full leather Joan Jett outfit. The real Joan Jett is actually coaching her at the start of the running footage,telling her to scream, “Yeah !”

You get a real good behind the scenes look at what goes on when they do these takes. Kristen gets a very good workout as she has to film this running scene a couple of times.Finally on one of the takes, they say “And Cut !” She screams, “Yeah!” And then she does this huge leap and falls to the ground. Entertainment Weekly has revealed the new cover for the movie tie in edition of “New Moon” by Little,Brown. It features Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) holding Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) in his arms with a cool background. And I believe,if I’m not wrong, that’s Edward Cullen’s (Robert Pattinson) face in the Moon behind them. The book cover is reported to be released later this year in coordination with the movie. According to Hollywood Reporter, Callum Blue has been chosen by the “Smallville” staff to play General Zod who is a criminal castoff from the planet Krypton. The original Zod from Superman II was played by Terence Stamp who has also done the voiceover for Clark’s father Jor-El on the show. I knew I recognized that voice from somewhere.

Callum Blue will make his first appearance on the upcoming 9th season premiere which is set to air on September 25,2009. But as we reported earlier, Zod will be joined by another villain on the show named “Metallo” played by none other than Brian Austin Green who recently dumped a ‘One Tree Hill” role for this one. He will be in the first two episodes of Season 9.

MTV reports that the Toronto Police have charged the manager of the hit rap group “Black Eyed Peas” with assault on celebrity blogger Perez Hilton that occurred on Monday June 22,2009 early in the morning. The altercation happened outside of the Toronto Cobra nightclub. The Police said that Molina turned himself in on Monday afternoon. Molina is supposed to be back in court at Toronto’s Old City Hall courthouse on August 5,2009 to answer the assault charge. He could reportedly face a maximum of five years in prison if prosecutors choose to charge him with an “indictable offense” or up to 18 months if he is charged with a “summary offense”.

Will.I.Am of the “Black Eyed Peas” denied having anything to do with hitting Perez Hilton. He stated, “Dude, apparently you were bleeding outside the club. I was, like, next to you by a tree. I was waiting for my car. … I didn’t hit you”. Read the rest of this entry »

Zap2it posted an interesting video (below) on their site by a guy named Jonathan McIntosh who goes by the name Rebellious Pixels on Youtube and his own site rebelliouspixels.com. The video is a remix which consists of clever outtakes from “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” and “Twilight”. He remixed it in such a way to show “Buffy” kicking his butt.

It first shows scenes from when Edward first met Bella Swan,but instead,he replaces Bella with Buffy Summers “The Vampire Slayer”. He arranged it so that Buffy appears annoyed by Edward Cullen,and it eventually ends in a showdown where Buffy kicks his butt and kills him. MTV Networks has rehired superstar actress and singer Jessica Simpson to return and do a whole new reality show for them entitled “The Price of Beauty”. In the show, Jessica will travel all over the world to meet every day women as well as some local pop culture icons. She will also study local fashions,dietary fads and beauty regimes. She will also participate in some of the extreme practices she discovers.

She stated, “I have always believed that beauty comes from within and confidence will always make a woman beautiful, but I know how much pressure some women put on themselves to look perfect.” “The Price of Beauty” is set to be released sometime in 2010,and is set to begin filming in mid July 2009. A Youtuber posted some video footage of Taylor Lautner and Rachelle Lefevre’s appearance at this year’s “Much Music Video Awards” over in Canada on June 21,2009. In This video, we first see Rachelle Lefevre getting out of her ride to do an interview. She reveals that she has a lot of family in Toronto,Canada. Then she talks about her new movie she’s filming over there with Kevin Spacey called “Casino Jack”. She also reveals that she plays a a little online poker on her Blackberry. Next, she talks a little about her character Victoria in the “Twilight Saga” films and how fans react to her when she meets them. She also says that Taylor Lautner is going to convert all the “Team Edward” fans over to “Team Jacob” in “New Moon”.

According to Hollywood Reporter , R&B star Chris Brown pleaded guilty to one count of felony assault on pop star Rihanna. He entered his plea before a preliminary hearing was supposed to start in Los Angeles on Monday June 22,2009. Rihanna was reported to be on standby to testify. Chris Brown is going to be sentenced on August 5,2009. However, he has agreed to a plea deal which would just give him five years of formal probation and 6 months of community labor.

They said that Chris will be able to complete his probation in his hometown of Virginia. He will have to do either graffiti removal or roadside cleanup for his service. Chris will also be required to attend domestic violence classes. Read the rest of this entry »
