According to my sources there is going to be an all girl version of the hit movie, “The Hangover”. The movie is going to be titled “Business Trip”, and the plot will entail a group of women who go on a trip and then get distracted by misadventure. It’s reported to be in it’s early stages. Chris Bender and J.C. Spink are going to produce the film.

As reported before, there is also a regular sequel to “The Hangover” which is currently being written, and they plan to start production on it in the fall of 2010. It will bring back the same actors : Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis. Read the rest of this entry »

Mega popstar Britney Spears has recently been offered a new movie role, according to reports. The role is for a movie that’s going to be titled, “The Yellow Star of Sophia Eton”, and it’s set in World War II. If Britney accepts the role, she will play the main character who is named Sophia LaMont. She creates a time machine and travels back to World War II where she will meet a Jewish man called Eton at a concentration camp. They will then fall in love and travel back to the present day with the intention of getting married, but then they both get killed by Nazis. Geez, how sad.

Britney’s last acting endeavor occurred back in 2002 with a movie called “Crossroads” which apparently didn’t do so well. It involved her and her friends going on a road trip to Los Angeles so Britney’s character could go to a record audition. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s official. Julianne Hough has beaten out top female actresses Miley Cyrus, Hayden Panettiere, and Amanda Bynes to claim the coveted prize of playing Ariel who is Ren McCormack’s (Chase Crawford) love interest in the new “Footloose” remake which is set to begin filming in March of 2010.

According to Variety, the casting will be contingent on scheduling details. Chase Crawford signed on to star as Rem McCormack a short month after Zac Efron stepped down from the role in March of 2009.

They are planning to have a more mature approach in this version of “FootLoose” than in the original one. Dylan Sellers, Kenny Ortega, Craig Zadan who is the producer of the original “Footloose”,and Neil Meron will be producing the film. Read the rest of this entry »

“Year One” starring Jack Black and Michael Cera made it’s debut this past weekend, Friday June 19,2009. I thought the movie was hilarious. Michael Cera’s onscreen chemistry with Jack Black kind of reminded me of his relationship with Jonah Hill’s in “Superbad” except in ancient times, of course. The general plot was that Jack Black’s character Zed had to leave their tribe for eating of the tree of “Good and Evil”.

Michael Cera’s character Oh followed behind him do to some unfortunate circumstances. They end up traveling the land after discovering that the world is indeed round,meet famous Bible figures, end up in Sodom where they are made guards and then made slaves. Then to conclude the story, they end up freeing all the slaves from the evil Sodom king with their silly wackiness. It had really hilarious moments which focused on spoofs from ancient Bible stories. According to reports from Zap2it, the popular “Olive Garden” restaurant company has pulled all of it’s advertising that would’ve shown during this year’s “The Late Show” broadcast. They are apparently unhappy about the jokes David Letterman told on Sarah Palin’s daughter.

Olive Garden made a statement in an email to a Letterman critic saying, “We apologize that Mr. Letterman’s mistake, which was not consistent with our standards and values, left you with a bad impression of Olive Garden.” Even though Sarah Palin finally accepted his apology, a conservative radio host named John Ziegler is currently running a campaign to get David Letterman fired. “New Moon” and “Twilight” Star Kristen Stewart gave a one on one interview to Entertainment Tonight back in April 2009. She talked about how she thinks the fans feel a real personal connection to the story.She said that it’s really very intimate and personal. She went on to state that they were unaware of how big the movie would get when they first started out making the film,but that they felt a big responsibility to their own characters more so then what everybody wanted them to be.

Next, she explains Bella’s character in great detail,and how she can relate to her. She talked about how they had to do a lot of stunts because they didn’t have a big budget to work with. She said they had to pull off a lot of physical stunts for real. The video concludes with her saying that she became really good friends with Nikki Reed who plays Rosalie Hale, and that they’re going to be doing a movie together in January 2010. Entertainment Tonight got a chance to interview most of the “Twilight” and “New Moon” cast backstage at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards on May 31,2009. This interview took place right after they got through winning all of their awards for the night. On hand for the interview was Robert Pattinson,Kristen Stewart,Taylor Lautner,Peter Facinelli,Michael Welch,Ashley Green,Elizabeth Reaser,and Christian Serratos.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart commented on the teaser kiss they had on stage when accepting the award for “Best Kiss”. Taylor Lautner, Michael Welch,and Peter Facinelli commented on how great it was to win all of the awards . Read the rest of this entry »

Derek Hough who was the dance partner with female rapstar Lil Kim on the 8th season of ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” is now in Lil Kim’s latest music video entitled, “Download”. He doesn’t do any dancing or anything in it,but he does appear in it,and I thought it was pretty interesting. Even though they were eliminated in week 9 from “Dancing With The Stars”, it looks like they still kept up their friendship outside of the show.

According to an interview with E! online, Emily Procter who plays Calleigh Duquesne on “CSI : Miami” wants to maybe be pregnant both onscreen and offscreen this year. They say that she’s already spoken to the writers about the possibility,and opened up to reporters about it. She made a statement saying, “I am hoping this is my year to have children. I understand that I am possibly more European in my views of marriage. I am not going to say I’m not going to get married, but it’s not my priority. I think the Eric, Adam Rodriguez and Calleigh story will work nicely if this is my year to get pregnant, and hopefully it will be.”

Paramount Pictures has released a new 2nd movie trailer for their “G.I. Joe : The Rise of Cobra” film. This 2nd trailer shows a couple of clips that were shown in the previous trailer like the destruction of the Eiffel Tower, the Baroness shooting missiles at two G.I. Joe members,etc. But they did throw in some unseen footage as well.
