ABC ‘Lost’ Final Season 6 Will Answer All Questions

Zap2it reported that the producers of the show Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse spoke over in London at a BAFTA event, and stated that the season would end in season 6,and that they do not want to extend it in a movie, comic book, or anywhere else.
They will also make sure that they end it by answering as many unanswered questions as possible. Lindelof stated, “We won’t be vague and ambiguous. There will be a lot of answers. We feel that if we hold anything back in the final season, it would be bad. Everyone’s come this far, and they want a conclusion to the story. We have no plans to continue the story of ‘Lost’ beyond season six. My wife says ‘never say never.’ I say ‘never.’ ”
They are scheduled to start production on the sixth and final season of “Lost” in August. Carlton Cuse let a couple of small spoilers slip out. He said that the sixth season will feel more like season one,and that there’s a circularity to the show. He also said that the smoke monster will become “an interesting character in and of itself.”
Lindelof said that the fans will not be left with a cliffhanger of any type, but not everyone will be happy with the ending. He stated,”Bittersweet comes with the territory. The ending we’re aspiring to is fair.”
An exact premier date for Lost’s sixth season hasn’t been set yet by ABC,but it looks like it’ll be returning in it’s usual midseason slot in the beginning of 2010.
