The seemingly distraught at times actress Lindsay Lohan reportedly turned down a role for “The Hangover” movie which has turned out to be one of the hottest comedy movies of the summer,and was very apparent to anyone else that it would be even before it was released.

Access Hollywood reports that she passed on the role of the stripper Jade that ended up being played by Heather Graham. She said that she felt that the screenplay had no potential.

Now, correct me if I’m wrong,but since when did Lindsay Lohan become an expert on the potential success of screenplays ? Isn’t she just an actress ? Don’t other people handle the success of the movie ? That’s so weird. She was so obviously wrong on this call, which is no surprise me.

They also elaborate, saying that the director Todd Philips actually sought out Lindsay for the movie after their mutual agent recommended her. The agent tried her to get Todd to consider her. Their source said, “And when he finally agreed, Lindsay said she didn’t like the script!”

“The Hangover” was a massive hit with audiences, generating a reported $205 million since it was released on June 5,2009.
