Hollywood Reporter reports that Jorja Fox who left CSI back in it’s 8th season is now set to return to CSI’s upcoming 10th season. They report that she’ll be reprising her role as Sarah Sidle in five episodes for season ten.

The executive producer / showrunner Carol Mendelson said, “We’re thrilled for Jorja’s return to CSI. The viewers and longtime CSI fans will be excited to discover where life has taken Sara Sidle and what brings her back to the CSI team in Las Vegas in our premiere episode.”

They also say that there are no known plans for William Peterson who played Gil Grissom, to return to the show. He had a romantic relationship with Sara’s character . CBS is also reported to be making creative changes to the show since there was a drop in ratings when Peterson left the show.

“CSI : Crime Scene Investigation” is set to return this fall September 24,2009 with all new episodes on CBS. Jorja’s character left due to job burnout,and decided to leave the crime lab to deal with problems from her past.
