According to reports from Entertainment Weekly, Michelle Trachtenberg who plays the scandalous Georgina Sparks will be retuning to CW’s “Gossip Girl” by the 2nd episode of season 3.

She will be arriving to be Blair’s (Leighton Meester) roommate in college. And as of right now,she is just set to appear in only three episodes,but we’re hoping there will be more eventually. One of the reasons, is because Michelle is scheduled to be a regular on a new NBC show called “Mercy” which is a medical drama about nurses.

Michelle plays the new rookie nurse. I’m predicting it won’t last long,and we’ll see her back on “Gossip Girl” for some more episodes. Michelle’s awesome,and I loved her in the “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” TV show from back in the day.

Also Entertainment Weekly made the following hint, “look for C and B to take an unorthodox approach to warding off the seven-week itch” while a major Gossip guy decides not to go to college very early in the season.”
