According to Variety, Columbia Pictures is in talks with Nicholas Cage to play a gangster villain in “The Green Hornet” movie. It’s also reported that the beautiful Cameron Diaz is in talks as well, to play a reporter and love interest in the film. They would be joining Seth Rogen who’s set to play Green Hornet.
They say that the movie is moving forward,and that they want to start filming it in the Fall of 2009. They are also looking to replace Stephen Chow who was going to play the sidekick Kato. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg wrote the script,and Neal Moritz is going to be producing it. “The Green Hornet” is set to be released on July 9,2010.
Nicholas Cage has just gotten done filming “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” ,and a remake of “The Bad Lieutenant”. Cameron is currently going to be starring alongside Tom Cruise again in a 20th Century Fox comedy that was going to be called “Wichita”,but is now untitled.
