On July 23,2009, the new “Book Of Eli” movie trailer (below) was released to the world,and I must say it looks pretty interesting,and it apparently turns Denzel Washington into an action star.

The movie also stars : Gary Oldman, Mila Kunis (That 70′s Show), Ray Stevenson, Jennifer Beals, Evan Jones.

In this trailer (below), Denzel Washington as Eli, apparently gets into a bit of “run in” with a few men. But he is definitely able to hold his own. It looks pretty awesome.

“The Book of Eli” revolves around Eli (Denzel Washington) who is a lone warrior,and must fight to bring redeeming knowledge to society. Gary Oldman plays Carnegie who portrays the despot of a small makeshift town that’s determined to try and take possession of the book Eli is guarding.

Mila Kunis from “That 70′s Show” fame, plays Solara who will eventually help Eli in protecting the book.

“The Book of Eli” is set to hit theaters on January 15,2010. It is a drama,sci-fi flick.
