Ok Magazine reports that Kristen Stewart was back to work on the set of her new film “The Runaways” as early as July 28,2009, right after her having to promote the “New Moon” movie at Comic-Con over the weekend.

She looked real sleek in that black leather,shooting her night scenes for the film. Kristen Stewart plays Joan Jett in the movie. “Runaways” is about the true life story of the 70′s all girl band group “The Runaways” who helped pave the way for other all girl band groups to become successful in the industry.

Joan Jett was the founder of the band,and has been helping Kristen shoot the movie. Also Kristen Stewart’s “New Moon” cast mate Dakota Fanning is in the movie with her,playing lead singer Cheri Currie.

“The Runaways” movie is set to debut sometime in 2010. No specific date has been set yet.
