This 3rd and latest “G.I.Joe : The Rise of Cobra” featurette goes back in time with the help of Larry Hama who wrote the first G.I. Joe comic book series. He explains how he ended up writing the comic book for Hasbro because no one else wanted to work on it.

He was actually the last person they asked. Then writer Stuart Beattie talked how he got a hold of all the Larry Hama comics when he was first asked to write G.I. Joe. He also explained what made G.I. Joe different from all the other comic books out there.

Then Stephen Sommers, the director of the movie talks about how he wanted to make sure that Larry Hama was happy with everything that was going into the movie. They also show more action filled clips from the G.I. Joe film,and say that you’ll also probably see Larry Hama in a key scene of the movie if you play close attention.
