My sources report that Danneel Harris who played Rachel Gatina in past seasons will be returning to “One Tree Hill” for their upcoming 7th season. She is scheduled to appear in at least seven episodes.

The first episode she is scheduled to appear in, is episode 2. Danneel first appeared on “One Tree Hill” in it’s third season as Brook’s high school nemesis. She became a regular of the show until season 4 when she fell victim to the four year flash forward script, the show took on.

Then appeared a couple of times in season 5,and after that, she sort of slipped my mind. I do know the show sort of wrote her out of the script by giving her a drug problem. The last time she was on the show,it showed her leaving Brooke’s home after having a brutal verbal altercation with Brooke’s mom Victoria Davis (Daphne Zuniga).

“One Tree Hill’s” 7th season is set to premiere Monday September 14,2008 at 7pm central time on the CW.
