It’s that time of the year again. The 2009 61st Annual Emmy Awards are scheduled to take place on September 20,2009, and will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris from CBS’ “How I met Your Mother” sitcom.They will air at 7pm central time on CBS.Now, with no further ado, the nominees for “Outstanding Reality Competition Program” are : The Amazing Race, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, Project Runway, and Top Chef.

The nominations for “Outstanding Reality Program” are : Antiques Roadshow, Dirty Jobs, Dog Whisperer, Intervention, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, and Mythbusters.

In The “Big Brother 11″ House last night July 15,2009, Laura got caught in a huge lie with Jessie’s crew . Apparently Michele, Laura, Jordan, Jeff and Casey have secretly agreed to vote to keep Braden in the house. Last night on the feeds, Natalie approached Laura and asked her who she was voting for.

She said that she was voting for Braden,and gave her a silly reason why, saying it’s because he’s her teammate,and that it seems like the right thing to do. She said it doesn’t matter anyway since Chima has all the votes. The problem is that she told Chima earlier, twice, that she was voting for her.

According to Zap2it, some new hot “90210″ spoilers have been unleashed. The first one is that Annie Wilson played by Shenae Grimes is in for some more rough times at West Beverly.

The whole school will now hate her,and then to make things worse, it’s reported that her own brother Dixon will also start avoiding her when the new season starts. That’s not all. Naomi is supposed to start a new scandal about her that’s really bad.

Dixon (Tristan Wilds) and Silver (Jessica Stroup) might still be together at first,but it’s not going to last long. Dixon’s going to start dating an older woman who is a D.J. in her 20′s. She’s also obsessed with sports.

According to Variety.com Disney has hired Miley Cyrus to help bring a best selling book series entitled “Wings” to the big screen. The film reportedly centers on a character named Laurel who is a 15 year old girl that is having a bit of a hard time fitting into a big school after being sheltered and home schooled for so many years.

There’s also another twist as to why she doesn’t quite fit in. It turns out that she actually sprouts out a pair of wings,and learns that she’s a fairy. The book was reportedly published in May and is supposed to be the first of a four book series.

The book was written by Aprilynne Pike. Temple hill partners Marty Bowen and Wick Godfrey will produce the film. Read the rest of this entry »

According to Gaj-it.com, the new Mophie Juice Pack is a new portable device that has been tested and reported to act as an exceptional back up battery pack to iPhones. They say it actually fits the iPhone snugly and doubles up as a back protector for the iPhone.

Thehollywoodgossip.com is currently reporting that Lo Bosworth was seen at the Verizon Wireless Matt Leinart Foundation event at Lucky Strikes & Lounge in L.A. with Scott Hochstadt who is a lacrosse player.

They said an onlooker stated, “They we’re so cute together.” They also said a friend of Lo Bosworth stated, “It’s new but they are both really happy.”

Lo Bosworth is currently filming season 5 part 2 of MTV’s “The Hills” which is on tap to start airing this fall September 29,2009. MTV just finished airing season 5 part 1 on May 31,2009,and then ordered 10 more episodes of the show on April 28,2009. Read the rest of this entry »

Not here in the good ole United States,but over in the Ukraine, it has. The Ukraine’s Culture Ministry says they have banned the “Bruno” movie over there because they think it’s immoral. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the ministry said that Sacha Baron Cohen’s depictions of sexual organs,homosexual intercourse,and language are obscene and improper.

Some of the officials over in Austria have spoken out against the film, but have not taken any action against it. Sacha’s previous movie “Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan” that came out in 2006 was also banned by Russia Read the rest of this entry »

Gil Birmingham included a photo in his newsletter of “New Moon” star Kristen Stewart behind the scenes on the set of “New Moon” while they were filming. The photo shows Kristen with her back turned to the camera and seeing shirtless wolf packers Alex Meraz and Chaske Spencer.

According to “In Touch Weekly” Jon Gosselin, the “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ star has proposed to his 22 year old girlfriend Hailey Glassman even though he is still technically married to his wife Kate. However, she has filed for a divorce.

A source told “In Touch” that Jon said, “He loves her and she loves him, so why waste time?” They also say that Jon gave Hailey a $180,000 engagement ring designed by Edouard Nahum. The ring features a skull surrounded by four black diamonds. Read the rest of this entry »

The latest installment of the Harry Potter series “Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince” just came out today July 15,2009 in the United States,and the reviews for it are looking mighty good.

E! Online critic Peter Paras gave it an A – rating saying, “It’s One of The Best.” Wesley Morris of the Boston Globe gave it a B -,and said, “There’s enough cliffhanging to give you vertigo.”

The famed Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times says, “I admired this Harry Potter. It opens and closes well, and has wondrous art design and cinematography as always, only more so.” He gave it a “B” rating.
