Fox has released a promo for “Bones” upcoming 5th season,and yes, Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) tells Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) that he loves her. He tried to play it off afterwards,but he did say it.

It starts off with Booth acting all happy to be back,and Brennan reminds him to never look happy at a crime scene. Then we see Cyndi Lauper playing the psychic,and that she apparently thinks Booth and Brennan are linked in a very spiritual way.

Booth and Brennan don’t agree,or at least they act like it. Then we see the scene where Booth says, that ever since he woke up from his coma, there’s something that he has wanted to say to her. It’s “I love you.” He plays it off by saying , “In a, that a girl kind of way.”

“Bones” season 5 premiers Thursday September 17,2009 at 7pm central time on Fox.
