The Wayans Brothers Are Set To Bring A ‘White Chicks” 2 Movie
According to Hollywood Reporter, those Wayans Brothers are bringing their surprise 2004 hit movie,”White Chicks” back for another round of comedy in “White Chicks” 2.
In the original “White Chicks” movie, Marlon and Shawn Wayans played sibling FBI agents posing as a pair of white ladies. The eldest brother, Keenen Ivory Wayans is on board to direct the sequel.
Keenen, Shawn,and Marlon are all writing and producing it. The storyline for the sequel is currently being kept a secret.
Rick Alvarez who is a long time producing partner for the Wayans Brothers, will be producing along with Joe Roth under his Roth Films label. The trio Wayans Brothers just got done working on the recent “Dance Flick” movie which they acted in,produced,and co-wrote with their relatives, Craig Wayans and Damien Wayans.
The original “White Chicks” movie grossed almost $70 million domestically in 2004 with a budget of about $37 million.
No release date for the sequel has been announced yet.
