The other day we reported that ABC’s “Lost” was looking for someone to play a new character on the show named Lennon. Well, their search is over. They have casts John Hawkes to play him, according to Hollywood Reporter.

The character,Lennon is a spokesperson and translator for the president of a foreign corporation. However, the character will have more influence than meets the eye. At this time, it remains to be seen if Lennon will be interested in peace and love,or if he will play a darker role.

John Hawkes has appeared on a couple of HBO shows in the past, which include : “Eastbound & Down” as Dustin Powers and “Deadwood” as Sol Star.”
