Comingsoon.net recently interviewed some of the cast of Universal Picture’s new action film, “Inglourious Basterds” starring Brad Pitt. The video (below) starts off with a scene from the movie.

Then it cuts to Silas Lesnick from Comingsoon.net interviewing the cast. He talks with B.J. Novak,first. He plays PRC.Smithson Utivich in the film. He talked about how his agent got a call from Quentin Tarantino one day asking him if he wanted to be in “Inglourious Basterds.” He said that was the coolest phone call he’s ever gotten.

Next, Silas spoke with Melanie Laurent who plays Shosanna Dreyfus in the film,and she talked about how she got cast for the role. They cut to another clip,and then they talked with Christoph Waltz who plays COL. Hans Landa in the film.

He talked about how he prepared for his role in the film. Then they talked with Diana Kruger, and she talked about how great Quinten Tarantino’s writing was. She said he made her watch a lot of actresses that she’s never heard of so she was well prepared for the role.

The video concludes by showing more footage from the movie.”Inglourious Basterds” hits theaters tomorrow August 21,2009.
