According to Zap2it, Orange County,California Prosecutors filed a murder charge against Ryan Alexander Jenkins for the murder of model, Jasmine Fiore. He is now on the run,and is currently being hunted around the U.S. and Canadian border.

Buena Park Police and U.S. Marshals believe Jenkins has fled to Canada. They found his BMW SUV along with an empty boat trailer in Blaine,Washington. They believe that Jenkins may have crossed the Canadian border on foot,from there.

Jenkins was one of the finalist on VH1′s “Megan Wants a Millionaire” which, consisted of former “Beauty and the Geek” and “Rock of Love” contestant Megan Hauserman looking for love among a pool of self proclaimed millionaires.

VH1 has since canceled “Megan Wants a Millionaire” from it’s lineup,and removed it from their website. VH1 made a statement which past the responsibility for the show to its producer, 51 Minds.

51 Minds said they weren’t aware of Jenkin’s previous record,indicating that he was convicted of assault in Canada back in 2007.

51 Minds made the following statement, “Obviously, if the company had been given a full picture of his background, he would never have been allowed on the show. The company did have in place what it thought was a thorough vetting process that involved complete background checks by an outside company for all contestants on its shows. Clearly, the process did not work properly in this case.”

Jenkins and Jasmine Fiore got married in Las Vegas back in March of 2009. Jasmine annulled it, after just a few weeks , Jenkins was charged with a misdemeanor count of domestic violence in June for allegedly hitting Fiore in the arm.
