Michael Ausiello from over at EW reports that “Gossip Girl” insiders say the CW is currently shooting an episode for the upcoming third season of the show, which has Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) kissing a dude.
He confirmed that it isn’t Chace Crawford,but that it will be a guy named Neal Bledsoe. He’s apparently appeared on “CSI : NY,” and “Guiding Light.” Now, he’s going to be guest starring in episode 6 of season 3 “Gossip Girl.”
He’s going to play a character named Josh Ellis who is NYU’s head of freshman affairs. Josh is in charge of selecting a new student to deliver the freshman speech. Blair’s very interested in it, so she pimps out Chuck to the gay guy in charge who is ,of course, Josh Ellis as I mentioned earlier.
He also revealed that there’s a very interesting twist that occurs,and that he says something surprising to Blair after his gay kiss. He wouldn’t spoil it,though. So that’s it for now,unless he decides to spill the beans before the episode comes out.
Also, apparently, the Chuck character swung both ways in Cecily von Ziegesar’s Gossip Girl books. So I guess now, they might be trying to play that card with Chuck on the TV show.
The 3rd season of “Gossip Girl” premieres Monday September 14,2009 at 8pm central time on the CW.
