As you all know Chima got removed from the Big Brother game the other day,due to her whack attitude. It screwed up the way this week was going to work out. CBS had originally planned for a double eviction this Thursday night,but since Chima’s gone,they had to end Michele’s HOH reign early.

Then Jordan won HOH,and nominated Natalie and Lydia. Now, CBS has announced that they are going to do the POV competition on Thursday’s LIVE eviction show.

According to reports,after the $18.6 million grossing weekend from “The Time Traveler’s Wife” movie, ABC has ordered a pilot TV show that’s based on it. Marta Kauffman, the co-creator of “Friends” TV show will be writing the script,and will also executive produce the show.

It’s reported that Kauffman has been discussing a TV show version of the movie for years,now. But the movie’s recent box office success has definitely pushed it along.

They hope that the TV show will be able to explore the relationship between the time traveler Henry and his wife,Clare, more indepth than the two hour movie allowed. Read the rest of this entry »

The CW has been doing some more casting for “Smallville” season 9 according to Zap2it. This time it’s for characters, Zan and Jayna who are “Wonder Twins” who can communicate telepathically.

Zan can take the form of water in any state like, solid,liquid,or gas. Jayna can take the form of any animal. Their signature move is to bump fists,and say,”Wonder Twin powers,activate !”

Allison Scagliotti has been casts as Jayna, and David Gallagher has been casts to play Zan. Allison has been seen in the TV show, “Warehouse 13″ and “CSI : Crime Scene Investigation”. David Gallagher has been seen on the TV show, “7th Heaven”,and “CSI : Miami.” Read the rest of this entry »

Warner Bros. is releasing a brand new fun looking movie called “Shorts” this weekend (movie trailer below). It’s an action,adventure,comedy that grants a whole bunch of kids their wishes. Hmmm, sounds like trouble to me.

It stars : Jon Cryer, William H. Macy, Leslie Mann, James Spader, Jimmy Bennett, Kat Dennings, Trevor Gagnon, Leo Howard, Devon Gearhart, Rebel Rodriguez, Jake Short, Jolie Vanier .

According to Michael Ausiello over at EW, the producers of ABC’s “Lost” are looking for an actor in his mid 30′s to late 50′s to play a new character named Lennon for the upcoming 6th and final season. It would be a recurring role.

Their description is that he is : Scruffy, edgy, charismatic, and slightly stir-crazy, Lennon can be deferential when it’s called for. He’s the spokesperson/translator for the president of a foreign corporation. He’s a wily negotiator, and far more powerful than his lowly position would seem to indicate. The CW has put together some new promotional material for their new “Melrose Place” reboot. They call this series of videos, “The Making Of” series. They go behind the scenes with each star of the show. This one in particular (below),is with the sexy Katie Cassidy who will be playing the character, Ella Simms on the show.

The CW continues their ongoing promotional campaign for their new bloodsucking series, “The Vampire Diaries.” This new promo (below) is entitled “Squeamish.”

It starts off showing Elena (Nina Dobrev) talking with a friend as they gaze at the new guy Stefan (Paul Wesley). Then it shows him and Elena talking and building a repore.

Summit Entertainment released a press release today stating who landed the roles for their “Twilight Saga : Eclipse” movie. Filling in the slots for Seth and Leah Clearwater were 28 year old Julia Jones and 15 year old BooBoo Stewart.

Julia Jones hails from Boston ,MA according to her IMDB page. And BooBoo Stewart hails from Beverly Hills, CA. Julia’s resume includes appearances in four episodes of “ER” as Dr. Kaya Montoya,and some other TV /Film projects that aren’t really well known.

BooBoo Stewart has appeared in “The Last Sentinel”,”Everybody Hates Chris”, “Disney’s T-Squad”, and a ton of other small to moderate television,film,and music projects. Filming for “Eclipse” started yesterday. Read the rest of this entry »

According to Hollywood Reporter, those Wayans Brothers are bringing their surprise 2004 hit movie,”White Chicks” back for another round of comedy in “White Chicks” 2.

In the original “White Chicks” movie, Marlon and Shawn Wayans played sibling FBI agents posing as a pair of white ladies. The eldest brother, Keenen Ivory Wayans is on board to direct the sequel.

Keenen, Shawn,and Marlon are all writing and producing it. The storyline for the sequel is currently being kept a secret.

Rick Alvarez who is a long time producing partner for the Wayans Brothers, will be producing along with Joe Roth under his Roth Films label. Read the rest of this entry »

According to the Washington Post, quarterback Brett Favre is expected to sign a contract sometime today with the Minnesota Vikings, which would bring him out of retirement to play for them this season.

They say that Brett arrived at the Vikings’ training complex after arriving in Minneapolis earlier today. He is supposed to undergo a physical. If everything goes well, he is reported to sign a deal that will pay him about $12 million for this season.
