According to Michael Ausiello at EW, ABC is looking to cast a new character named Paul for it’s upcoming 6th and final season. They gave him a description of the character,and it reads like this :

Paul is an overworked, married male, age 30-60 who finds himself in a highly adrenalized situation that forces him to remain calm and tests his ability to keep his wits about him, a test he fails miserably. Must be available for episodes 602 and 603. Read the rest of this entry »

According to NBC, Jayma Mays ,who played Charlie Andrews in “Heroes” first season is set to reprise her role in the upcoming 4th season of the show this fall.

Jayma’s character was the object of Hiro’s affection when she appeared on the show for three episodes as a sweet-natured waitress. Jayma is also starring in FOX’s “Glee” TV show,but since they’re done shooting their 13 episodes,she’ll have time to devote to “Heroes.”

According to Access Hollywood, Kate Gosselin of “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ fame, is set to be a guest co-host on ABC’s ” The View” in September. They report that the talk show announced it to day on their website.

They say she will mix it up with the ladies of “The View” on September 14 and 15. Kate is going to be sitting in for Elisaeth Hasselbeck who is going to be away on maternity leave after giving birth to her third child on August 9.

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, the stars of “New Moon” and “Twilight” movies recently shared some detailed insights into their “New Moon” love triangle, and scene secrets.

Kristen started off by saying, “It’s such a different relationship; it’s like entirely original. They’re light; they actually have fun with each other. Edward and Bella are always so strange, you know?”

Kristen also commented on the deep depression that Bella slips into after Edward (Robert Pattinson) leaves,and how Jacob brings her out of it. She said, “Only Jacob can bring her out of that rut. CW’s “90210″ has hired a very cute new blonde to join the cast for their 2nd season,according to TV Guide. Her name is Amalia Zinser,and she will play a character named Ivy who is a surfer girl that will tempt the guys of 90210

Ivy is a tomboy who will end up flirting with both Dixon and Liam at the beach. She’s the quintessential California girl who is easy going,athletic,and full of fun. Ivy is set to make a first appearance on the show in October.

Amalia Zinser is a relative newcomer,but her acting credits include some guest starring roles on “Cold Case,” “Southland,” and “Cupid.” Read the rest of this entry »

The CW put together another promo (below) for their debut season of their new “Melrose Place” reboot. This time it’s with Laura Leighton who plays Sydney Andrews on the show,but unfortunately we never actually get to see her because she’s behind the camera the whole time.

She apparently decided that she wanted to film her own little behind the scenes special.

Michael Ausiello from over at EW reports that “Gossip Girl” insiders say the CW is currently shooting an episode for the upcoming third season of the show, which has Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) kissing a dude.

He confirmed that it isn’t Chace Crawford,but that it will be a guy named Neal Bledsoe. He’s apparently appeared on “CSI : NY,” and “Guiding Light.” Now, he’s going to be guest starring in episode 6 of season 3 “Gossip Girl.”

He’s going to play a character named Josh Ellis who is NYU’s head of freshman affairs. Josh is in charge of selecting a new student to deliver the freshman speech. Read the rest of this entry »

In their new music video (below) for the lead single,”Always Strapped” off Birdman’s fourth studio album which is also entitled, “Always Strapped.” The song was released a couple of months ago on iTunes,and it features Lil Wayne and Mack Maine. It was produced by Mr. Beatz and Lil’ C.

The “Always Strapped” music video first premiered on MTV Jams,Sucker Free Sunday,and MTV.com on June 14. Birdman and Lil Wayne rap their verses in the video, which also includes a special verse by Mack Maine. Read the rest of this entry »

Recent former “American Idol” judge, Paula Abdul is set to host this year’s “VH1 Divas” show. According to Access Hollywood, she tweeted the following, “Hi guys! im really excited 2 announce ill b hosting this year’s “Vh1 Divas”! The show will be live on Sept 17th @ 9 pm EST.”

Also this year’s “VH1 Divas” will feature a ton of hot stars which include two past “American Idol” champions. Paula continued her tweet,stating,“This year’s VH1 Divas show will honor Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis and Miley Cyrus- I am so excited!!”
