According to the Associated Press, New York Met’s relief pitcher, Billy Wagner is being traded to the Red Sox today. They are trading him for two players which have yet to be named.

Billy has pitched two scoreless innings since returning from major surgery on his left elbow last September. Wagner said the Red Sox must guarantee that they would decline his contract option for 2010 before he would approve a potential trade. He said, “I don’t want to end my career as a setup man.”

Wagner has a no-trade in his contract, which includes an $8 million option for next year with a $1 million buyout. Read the rest of this entry »

Anna Paquin who stars as Sookie Stackhouse on HBO’s super hit show, “True Blood” recently interviewed with Nylon Magazine,according to Access Hollywood. She told them that she’s not a Barbie Doll despite dying her hair to blonde from her natural brunette color for the “True Blood” role.

The CW has started jumpstarting it’s “Supernatural” 5th season promotion. This time they’ve released a full minute and something trailer which features “O Death.” I’m not sure if that’s an actual character,but that’s what they’ve named it.

It has a new face in it,which could be this “O Death” character. Anyhow,it looks very interesting.

It starts off with judgement day being jumpstarted by Sam,and the seal is cracking open. Then Sam says, “He’s Coming.” Then it shows a scene where Castiel sets fire to this black guy in a wheel chair who is also the new face, I mentioned earlier. Read the rest of this entry »

The CW has a released a little bit of a longer 2nd promo (below) for its upcoming 5th season of “Supernatural”. This one is 20 seconds instead of the very short 10 seconds on the first promo.

It features a depiction of a beautiful world with kids running and playing in the fields accompanied by a a voice stating, “Everything is going to be fine.Life is beautiful. There is no Hell on Earth. There is no such thing as Lucifer.” Read the rest of this entry »

The late 1980′s TV show, “Thirtysomething” created by Marshall Herskovitz and Edward Zwick has released it’s first season on dvd today. The show made it’s network television debut on ABC back on September of 1987,just 20 days before “Black Monday” when the Dow Jones industrial average dropped nearly 23 percent.

The event immediately put the show in jeopardy,but the recession that followed was brief,and the show got to live on for about 4 more years until the near end of the Bush presidency in 1991.

The show revolved around a good looking ad man, Michael Steadman (Ken Olin),his stay at home wife,Hope (Mel Harris), and their group of self-analyzing friends. Read the rest of this entry »

The Danyl Johnson “The X Factor” video has officially gone viral. Monday,the official YouTube video clip had about 600,000 views since the weekend.

Then 24 hours later,the count had doubled to almost 1.2 million views. On Saturday Night’s airing of the show, judge Simon Cowell said Danyl Johnson’s audition was “the best first audition I have ever heard.”

This caused Johnson to quickly become a frontrunner on the show,which raised questions of if he would become the next Susan Boyle.

The British press have been reporting on him heavily,just like they did with Susan Boyle on the “Britain’s Got Talent” show in April. Read the rest of this entry »

Summit Entertainment, apart from it’s highly successful “Twilight Saga” stuff, is releasing a new horror,thriller movie in a couple of weeks called, “Sorority Row”(movie trailer below). It will star : Briana Evigan, Leah Pipes, Rumer Willis, Jamie Chung, Audrina Patridge, and Carrie Fisher.

A couple of weeks ago, we reported that the character, Rachel Gatina played by Danneel Harris is going to be returning to “One Tree Hill” in their upcoming season 7.

Now, Korbi Ghosh over at Zap2it is reporting that Rachel might hooking up with Dan Scott (Paul Johansson) on the show. There was a rumor going around that she was actually going to be having his baby,but that rumor got dispelled by Mark Schwahn who is one of the writers for the show.

What do you guys think of Dan and Rachel hooking up ? I personally thought Dan’s character would’ve been written off the show by now due to his so called heart condition. But, oh well. He’s still around. Read the rest of this entry »

The POV ceremony is over,and Jeff who won the HOH and POV this week, finally did what he said he was going to. He took Kevin off the Block and put Russell up to sit next to Natalie. So his plans that he had discussed with both Kevin and Natalie, to backdoor Russell are in full effect.

Also Russell didn’t take it well at all . On the live feeds, a big argument broke out between Russell and Jeff. It was very verbally violent. Read the rest of this entry »
