The CW has released a few new photos from the first episode of the upcoming 3rd season of “Gossip Girl.” This one,above, in particular shows Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg) and Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) at the college dorms of NYU.

The first episode is aptly titled, “The Freshman.” I’m guessing that this scene is where Georgina surprises Blair as her new roommate,and according to Michelle,herself in an interview, it was all Georgina’s idea that they room together. Hmmm, I wonder what Georgina has up her sleeve for this season.

I do know she ends up getting Dan’s money back, which got stolen in an investment scam last season.
