MTV Is Looking To Bring ‘Teen Wolf’ Back As A TV Show

According to Hollywood Reporter, MTV has ordered a TV show pilot presentation order for the reinvention of the classic 1980′s movie, “Teen Wolf” which starred Michael J. Fox. He played a teenager who discovers he is a werewolf and parties it up in the comedy.
MTV’s version of it, is reported to be set in high school,and will explore werewolf mythology and include a romantic plot line.
Liz Gateley who is the senior vp of MTV series development stated, “It has a fresh take and is very different from the original.It has more of an ‘American Werewolf in London’ feel to it. It’s a dramatic thriller with two best friends in the center who provide a great comedy element: They are two very relatable characters on the outer circles of popular cliques.”
The new MTV version of “Teen Wolf” is written by “Criminal Minds” creator Jeff Davis. There is no information as of yet, to when the show will begin.
