The CW has released the first four minutes of the season 7 opener for “One Tree Hill” (video below). The opener starts out with Dan’s voice in the background, talking about how he sat through Nathan’s first game in the NBA,and how he was given only days to live. Then he said, “That was 14 months ago.” Hmmm,interesting.

Next, it shows Haley singing. Then it cuts to Brooke and Julian, kissing on the beach. Then it shows the first scene of Haley’s sister (Shanel Vansanten) the photographer. While Haley continues to sing in the background. It shows Nathan in the basketball gym,going in for a monster jam.

Then we get a first look at Nathan’s new sports agent trying to cut some deals. Then it cuts back to Haley really getting into that song she’s singing. After that, it cuts back to Julian and Brooke on the beach, talking about the possibilities of their future together.

It concludes with Haley singing the hell out of that song. She’s really good.

Season 7 of “One Tree Hill” premieres September 14,2009 at 7pm central time on the CW.
