According to Michael Ausiello over at EW, CW’s “Melrose Place” is looking to bring on another lesbian character to join Katie Cassidy who’s character currently goes both ways.

The new character’s name will be Melissa. According to the character description, she will be a gorgeous,sexy lesbian who is an agent,and she’s looking to get a piece of Katie Cassidy’s character, Ella. The role will be recurring.

Here’s the CW’s description,verbatim : Melissa: In her late 20s, she’s a gorgeous, sexy, lesbian Hollywood agent who sets her sights on Katie Cassidy’s Ella. Recurring potential.

“Melrose Place” premieres Tuesday September 8,2009 at 8pm central time on the CW.
