Miramax Film’s “Extract” movie hits theaters today (movie trailer below). It’s a new comedy starring : Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Ben Affleck, Mila Kunis, J.K. Simmons, David Koechner, Clifton Collins Jr., T.J. Miller, Beth Grant, and Gene Simmons. I must say,it looks pretty damn funny.

In “Extract,” Jason Bateman plays Joel Reynold who is the owner of his own culinary extracts business or factory. He employs an odd cast of losers to help run his business. His personal life is currently on the rocks,sexually, with his wife, Suzie (Kristen Wiig).

If he doesn’t make it home by 8 o’clock,his wife is putting on her sweatpants,and is completely uninterested in having sex. Joel talks to his best friend, Dean (Ben Affleck) about the situation which leads to him being caught up in a scheme to get his wife to cheat on him with a gigolo (Dustin Milligan), so that he can pursue a beautiful new employee named Cindy (Mila Kunis).

Unfortunately for Joel, he doesn’t know that she is actually a artist / sociopath who is just one step away from having her parole revoked.

Also Joel and his second-in-command, Brian (J.K. Simmons) have entered negotiations for a buyout of Reynold Extracts by General Mills. They just need to keep the company running smoothly until the deal is final,but his misfit employees start to fumble things up, so much so, that it could end up costing Joel his business.
