The CW has recently released a new publicity photo (above) of Tom Welling as Clark Kent in his new black super suit that he’ll be sporting in “Smallville” season 9. There have been reports that he resembles Batman or Neo from “The Matrix.” I personally would go with the latter,in Neo.
Anyhow, the producers have stated that they’ve come up with this new black attire as his first version. They claim that Clark doesn’t decide on the tights at first,and that there’s a sort of evolution that takes place before he gets to the red and blue spandex, with the cape that Superman is well known for.
What do you guys think of the new threads ?
Season 9 of “Smallville” premieres Friday September 25 at 7pm central time on the CW.
