According to Variety, Will Smith,Charlize Theron,and Jason Bateman are set to reunite for a sequel movie to Columbia Pictures “Hancock” film. Peter Berg will be helming the movie. It’s reported that Berg made the announcement at the Toronto Film Festival. He stated, “Everybody’s going to come back for a sequel.” Adam Fierro and Glan Mazzara will write the script.

They report that Berg said, Will Smith and Theron will once again play immortal gods who lose their powers when they are in each other’s presence. They are going to have to team up to deal with a third entity. The sequel is also going to explore the 3,000 year old world that they are from.

Jason Bateman is going to return as the PR exec who helped Hancock change his drunken image in the original. Sony hasn’t set a release date yet. They are waiting for the script to be completed.
