Serena Williams Loses To Clijsters Due To Cursing At A Lineswoman
The world’s # 2 tennis player in the world, Serena Williams lost to Kim Clijsters 6-4,7-5 tonight at the 2009 US Open Tennis Championships in their semi-final match. What was really interesting is the way she lost it. Aside from Serena Williams just being outplayed by Kim,she actually officially lost due to a code violation for bad sportsmanship.
Serena was serving at 5-6,15-30 in the second set. Then she double faulted because the line judge called a foot fault on her. This made the score 15-40. After that, Serena lost her temper,and went over to the line judge,pointed her racquet at her,and started swearing and cussing at her.
We were able to pick up what she said on the numerous replays. The main thing she said was, that she would shove the tennis ball down her throat. That’s what we caught,and there were also some cuss words that were bleeped out. That resulted in a code violation,causing her to lose another point, which just so happened to be match point.
She went over to Kim and congratulated her. Kim said she was sorry,and Serena said it wasn’t her fault. That was the end of it. Serena said she was just going to move forward,and get passed the incident, at a press conference held afterwards.
Kim Clijsters advances forward to play the US Open’s # 9 seed, Caroline Wozniacki in the finals tomorrow.

Unfortunate behaviour by Serena Williams but congratulations to Kim Clijsters for beating both Williams sisters in the same tournament which is extremely rare.
She should have lost. She acted like a typical black person could not stand having that ass whipped . She is just a reflection of how she was raised I guess.

John McEnroe used to always yell at umpires when he felt they had made a bad call. Romanian Ilie Nastase was legendary for his bad behaviour on court. These two individuals were white.

Sadly for Kim C, Serena W basically through a tantrum because she was losing and the crowd supported Kim. I have attended many tennis tournaments as well as the US open and can attest that throughtout the past 30 years of tennis crowds support the “old” near retirement player going for a last hurrah, the comeback kid, and the extreme underdog. Kim is the comeback kid with a real kid! I was disappointed to read in other websites that this crowd was racist.

Even the commentators at the US open have shown how racist they really are.It is okay for Venus and Serena to accept losses due to the lines people and the umpire thievery in favor of their opponent but it is not okay for them to react.P.S:I hope you racists never know what it feels like to be judged based on your color.
