Lady Gaga didn’t disappoint last night,with her performance at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. She performed a few lines of “Poker Face” before she started with her new song, “Paparazzi.” She was wearing knee-high boots and a white bell-bearing unitard with a single feathered shoulder pad.

Her performance set looked like an ornate mansion. At one point she walked around the stage with a cane. She did a pirouette behind a dancer in a lily-white wheelchair and then went over to a white grand piano. She started banging the keyboard,and hoisted one of her feet up on the keyboard.

Her voice started growing more urgent with every frenzied note.

Then unexpectedly,and all of a sudden, Gaga starts to stagger across the stage with what looked to be blood, dripping from her ribcage. She then wailed the lyrics to the song.

Next, she started to dab at the blood,and wiped it on her face. She collapsed into a heap while a dancer wailed in agony,and then she gently laid her down on center stage.

She then rose above her dancers,and smeared blood on her face and one of her eyes.After that, she stared lifelessly at the stunned crowd. Lady Gaga is one unique chick. No one can ever say, otherwise.
