Columbia Pictures Gives ‘Spider-Man’ 4 A Release Date
Columbia Pictures announced yesterday that their 4th installment of the epic “Spider-Man” franchise will be hitting theaters on May 5,2011. It is also set to be released simultaneously in IMAX theaters.
Tobey Maguire is set to return to play Peter Parker aka Spider-Man,and Kirsten Dunst has signed on to return as his longtime love interest, Mary Jane Watson.
Also Sam Raimi will be returning to direct the film. Access Hollywood reports that actor, Bruce Campbell told them, “Spider-Man” 4 is set to start production in January 2010,and that he’ll have a big role in the film,but couldn’t say what it is, yet.
