According to Cinemablend,someone has been sneaking around the set of “The Karate Kid” movie remake entitled, “The Kung-Fu Kid”. It stars Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith who is the son of action star, Will Smith.

Jackie Chan is pictured in the photo (above) playing Han and teaching young Dre (Jaden Smith) some Kung-Fu techniques. Also,as you can see, Jackie Chan is now sporting a mustache for the role,to resemble Pat Morita’s trademark mustache.

The movie’s story line is reportedly going to stay pretty much the same as the original.However, they’ve moved the location to China,and instead of using the name Daniel,they are using the name Dre,as the student.

Also instead of using the name Mr. Miyagi, Jackie Chan will use the name, Han. He will also teach Dre how to speak Chinese along with his Kung-Fu skills. The John Kreese character is also renamed Li Quan Ha who will be the owner of the Fighting dragon school of Kung-Fu.

“The Kung-Fu Kid” movie hits theaters June 11,2010.
