“The Vampire Diaries” episode 3 of season 1 airs this Thursday night. It’s entitled, “Friday Night Bites.” We have a few spoilers for the episode,and clip from the show after the jump. In “Friday Night Bites,” Bonnie tries to warn Elena of a disturbing vibe that she’s gotten from Stefan,but Elena tries to ignore her warnings.

Tyler tries to embarrass Stefan by throwing a football at him, but Stefan catches it,effortlessly and passes the ball back to him, which impresses everyone. Mr. Tanner (guest star Benjamin Ayres) reluctantly lets Stefan join the football team.

Elena invites Bonnie and Stefan to dinner,in an effort to help the two bond. However,it gets disrupted when Damon unexpectedly crashes the dinner. The town also get a shock, with another terrible act of violence.

Also it’s revealed in the clip below, that Damon starts controlling and feeding on Caroline.

“Vampire Diaries” episode 3 of season 1 airs Thursday September 24 at 7pm central time on the CW.
