Heather Locklear To Return To Melrose Place As Amanda Woodward
According to Access Hollywood, Heather Locklear is set to return to the new CW “Melrose Place” show and reprise her 90′s character, Amanda Woodward. The executive producers, Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer said, “We’re ecstatic to have the chance to bring Amanda Woodward back to ‘Melrose Place.’Heather’s involvement in the show is something we’ve been working on for some time as we couldn’t imagine creating and producing this show without the iconic character’s inclusion.”
Heather’s former and future co-stars loved the idea as well. Daphne Zuniga who is also set to reprise her role as Jo Reynolds, stated, “Nobody. The new b**** on the show, I think her name is Ella, she’s lovely, she’s great as being a b****, but nobody is Heather Locklear as far as that goes.”
Also the gorgeous Katie Cassidy who plays the hot new blonde, Ella Sims on the show, said,”I think it’s great. Heather Locklear is amazing and we would be more than thrilled,Heather,if you came on our show.”
Katie also commented on possible good material that could occur between her character and Heather’s character. She stated,“They’re both business women.I think there could be some really fun material happening there. It would be an honor to have her on. So hopefully. We’ll see.”
Heather Locklear is set to make her debut return to the show on November 17.

Hope Heather Locker’s return can save the show….this show has been great so far, and last night’s episode was the best yet. I couldn’t believe it when I read on Perez Hilton that the ratings are taking a big dive which is so stupid because this show is just getting better…so come on people stop being so LAME!
I was so glad they had Taryn Manning guest star last night – love her! She even pulled a gun on Jonah as they played the Boomkat song “Run Boy” – it was so great. There’s some videos of Taryn and company doing dance rehearsals for the Melrose Place episode floating around on YouTube ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Im5HQAO5yM ). Makes me so envious of her dancing…*sigh. Bring Taryn back for more episodes and let’s make Heather a full-time, permanent cast member again!
