According to recent reports, Chynna Phillips who is the half sister of Mackenzie Phillips says that Mackenzie’s story about her having sex with her father,John Phillips of “The Mamas and the Papas” 60′s band, in a drug induced state, is true.

Chynna Phillips who was also a part of the hit 90′s group Wilson Phillips, reportedly shared her side of the story with Us Weekly Magazine. She said, she had received a call from Mackenzie about 11 years ago,and she told her everything about the incestuous event.

She stated that Mackenzie called her and said, “I don’t know why, but I just really felt the need to call you and tell you something that I think you need to know. Mackenzie went on to tell me that she had had an incestuous relationship with our dad (of ’60s band The Mamas and the Papas) for about 10 years.”

Chynna expressed how shocked she was when she heard the news, but definitely believed it. She stated, “Somebody could have dropped a piano on my head and I probably wouldn’t have felt it,” the singer says in an interview with Us Weekly. “But I knew it was true. I mean, who in their right mind would make such a claim if it wasn’t true?”

Chynna also confirmed that Mackenzie and her father did drugs together,and that John would have sex with her. She stated, “They were both doing drugs together.After long nights of heroin use, she’s claiming that she once woke up and that my father was on top of her having sex with her.Was he actually raping her? I don’t know. Do I believe that they had an incestuous relationship and that it went on for 10 years? Yes.”
