According to Hollywood Reporter, Jaimie Alexander and Colm Feore have been hired to join the cast of Marvel Studio’s “Thor” movie. Jaimie Alexander is reported to be playing a character named Sif who is a skilled Asgardian warrior who can hold her own against any man. She is also one of Thor’s love interests.

Colm Feore’s character is reportedly still a mystery even to the actor,as he hasn’t even received a script yet. However, they say it’s supposed to be a villain. The “Thor” movie is going to center around “Thor” who is a powerful,yet arrogant warrior,and his wreckless actions re-ignite an ancient war.

Thor is then cast down to Earth to live with the humans,as punishment. He eventually learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends dark forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

Kenneth Branagh is directing the film.

“Thor” movie is scheduled to hit theaters on May 11,2011.
