Freddy Krueger is back in the new “A Nightmare on Elm Street” movie remake,and New Line Cinemas has released a new teaser movie trailer (below) for the drama,horror,thriller flick. It stars: Jackie Earle Haley, Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner, Thomas Dekker, Kellan Lutz, Katie Cassidy, and Connie Britton.

The “Nightmare on Elm Street” remake is reportedly going to keep the high school setting and delve deeper into the psychology of nightmares,and Freddy Krueger himself. It’s also supposed to have a much darker tone than the original versions.

The teaser trailer looks amazing,and starts out showing Freddy getting chased by the towns people for molesting children. They torch the building he’s in,and sets him on fire. Then it shows a series of frightening Freddy Krueger scenes accompanied by the classic “Freddy Krueger’s coming for you” song.

“A Nightmare On Elm Street” remake movie hits theaters on April 30,2010.
