According to MTV,Kanye West called and apologized to Taylor Swift yesterday, for interrupting her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night. Afterwards, they report that she spoke to ABC Radio about it.

She said, “Kanye did call me and he was very sincere in his apology, and I accepted that apology.” They asked her if the situation was alright now. She replied by saying, “Yeah.”

The 2 hour Big Brother 11 finale show to decide the winner of the $500,000 began with Julie Chen announcing for the first time in Big Brother history,the final HOH would occur on finale night. Then they recapped the entire season of Big Brother 11 from day 1.

Then Julie came back on to announce the festivities of the night. Then they went back and showed what happened after Jordan won the 2nd round HOH contest. They showed all of their diary room sessions,and what their tactics would be from there on out. They showed all the negotiations that went on in the house during the weekend.

Superstar rock band, “Green Day” won three 2009 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night for “Best Rock Video,” “Best Direction,”,and “Best Cinematography” for their clip for “21 Guns.” They also performed their single, “East Jesus Nowhere” to a bunch of screaming fans.

They also welcomed a bunch of them onto the stage to rock out with them as they performed the tune.

The drummer, Tre Cool played an integral part in bringing the fans onto the stage,and it got full by the time the band finished the song. Madonna, who’s a veteran of the MTV Video Music Awards, showed up for the 2009 version to pay tribute to the late :King of Pop,” Michael Jackson. She certainly did not disappoint,as she gave a very heartfelt speech,wearing a dark black zippered jacket and skirt.

In her speech (full video below), she commented on her and Michael’s dinner date that they had years ago,and stated how he was looking for friend rather than a romance. She talked about how her her kids imitate him,now,and how she was sadden by the fact that she lost touch with him over the years.

She stated how Michael never really had a childhood. She said he was one of the greatest talents the world has ever known. She said he felt his pain when the negative stories came out about him. Read the rest of this entry »

Twilight,New Moon,and Eclipse movie stars,Taylor Lautner, Kristen stewart,and Robert Pattinson took to the stage (photo above) at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night to present the third “Twilight Saga : New Moon” extended trailer which was awesome by the way.

Taylor Lautner who was earlier exposed to the Kanye West & Taylor Swift incident was sporting a casual black suit with no tie. Kristen Stewart appeared to have now chopped her hair into a pixie cut. Read the rest of this entry »

According to Allieiswired.com,the usually very nice and really,really sweet, former American Idol, and Grammy award winner, Kelly Clarkson got real mean in her letter to Kanye West the other day for his Taylor Swift 2009 MTV Video Music Awards speech crash.

I never thought she could get this nasty,but she shot down my doubts with a bazooka in the following nasty letter. Kelly was also nominated for the same award that Taylor Swift won, which was “Best Female Video.” Here’s what Kelly had to say, Warning : she’s really pissed :

Kanye West made an appearance on Jay Leno’s debut of his new show last night,and delivered a third public apology to Taylor Swift for cutting off her speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. He talked with Jay just before he was supposed to perform with Jay-Z and Rihanna to the single, “Run This Town.”

Jay asked Kanye what would his late mother have thought about his VMA speech crash. After he sat in silence for about 20 seconds, he said, “Obviously, I deal with hurt, and so many celebrities, they never take the time off, and I never took the time off, really.I’ve really never taken the time off. Muse played for a packed house at New York City’s Walter Kerr Theater the night of the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards were going on. MTV was there to cover it. There was a crowd of die-hard fans in the building to witness the British Rock Group’s debut performance on American television.

They played their single entitled, “Uprising,” which is the first single off their 5th studio album entitled, “The Resistance.” They played their new song bathed in red and blue lights.

Then to highlight the performance, the lead singer, Matthew Bellamy ran out the stage door with his guitar,and delighted the crowd that were standing outside on the street. Read the rest of this entry »

According to the Associated Press, “Dirty Dancing” and “Ghost” movie star, Patrick Swayze died a few hours ago today (Monday) due to losing his battle with pancreatic cancer. He was age 57. They report that his publicist, Annett Wolf said, “Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months.” They report that he died in Los Angeles, but couldn’t get any further details.

Fans of the actor first learned about his condition back in March of 2008. However, he kept working despite the diagnosis. He was filming a show for an A&E drama entitled, “The Beast.” When he first went public with his illness, there were reports stating he only had weeks to live,but his doctor shot those down with a more optimistic prediction.

Beyonce performed her latest single entitled, “Sweet Dreams” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on it)” at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. She wore a sparkly leotard and one silver glove. Beyonce initially hit the stage alone to sing “Sweet Dreams”.

Afterwards,the lights dimmed,and she was joined by two background dancers. Next, Beyonce paused,and then she said, “Now wait.I see y’all standing up and I appreciate the love, but I want to see you put your hands together!”

After that, a whole army of single ladies from the front to the back of the stage,came up and joined Beyonce to perform the rest of the song and routine. Read the rest of this entry »
