Country music star, Taylor Swift won the award for “Best Female Video” tonight at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.It was presented to her by Twilight,New Moon,and Eclipse star, Taylor Lautner and pop singer Shakira.

Taylor went on stage to accept it,and after she said a few words, rapstar Kanye West very rudely cuts in and says “I’m really happy for you. I’m gonna let you finish. But Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.” It cut to a shocked Beyonce in the crowd,saying “Oh My Gosh.”

After he gave the mic back to Taylor,everyone just stood there with a shocked look on their face, like WTF just happened. Read the rest of this entry »

The CW recently interviewed Nina Dobrev who plays Elena Gilbert on their new hit vampire show, “The Vampire Diaries,” which is originally based on a popular book series that holds the same title. She started off by describing a little bit about her character on the show. She goes on to explain the premise of the show in great detail.

She said Elena was involved in a car crash with her parents. They died,but she survived,so now she’s struggling to get over that. Then she meets these two guys, Stefan and Damon that fight over her. They both grew up in the same town that she’s in,and now they have returned.

According to Access Hollywood, “Harry Potter” movie star, Emma Watson is really fitting in well in her first week of college. Emma plays Hermione Granger in the “Harry Potter” movie series.

They report that she stated on her blog, “I’ve finally arrived at Brown University and I’m having the most amazing time.I’m still so excited to be here; I’ve already met so many incredible people.”

Hermione is currently majoring in literature,and she said she is looking forward to starting classes. She stated, “I’m over my jet lag and I just want classes to start!!” Read the rest of this entry »

The very,very, cute Jessica Szohr who plays Vanessa Abrams on CW’s “Gossip Girl” gave an interview,and gave away some season 3 spoilers for her character on the show. She started off by saying, that it was great to be back in the city and working again.

She said there’s a bunch of new storylines and arcs,and that they’ve all graduated from high school.

They’re all starting a new chapter in their lives. Next she dropped the Vanessa spoilers. She said she goes to NYU,and meets new friends,starts a whole new chapter,and that she’s really excited for her character.

Jessica Szohr who plays Vanessa Abrams on CW’s “Gossip Girl” interviewed Ed Westwick who plays Chuck Bass on the show. In that British accent of his,he gave away some season 3 spoilers for his character, Chuck Bass,and talked about what he’s most looking forward to in season 3.

He said he’s most looking forward to the next chapter in the adventure of “Gossip Girl.” He said it was really nice to get the two month break this summer, from the show because last season was really intense,especially with his character. The CW has released another 30 second promo (below) for the 9th season of “Smallville”. It starts off with some pretty radical, special effects surrounding Clark (Tom Welling) accompanied by a voice,saying, “His abilities are not of this world. He watches over everyone,but has never been seen. And if you’re lucky enough,a bright symbol of truth and justice will light up your darkest moment.”

It also shows more cool footage that’s coming up this year,and also has another clip of Lois (Erica Durance) in it,saying, “I know where you are.” Hmm, I’m totally ready to see what that’s about. Read the rest of this entry »

According to Variety, Will Smith,Charlize Theron,and Jason Bateman are set to reunite for a sequel movie to Columbia Pictures “Hancock” film. Peter Berg will be helming the movie. It’s reported that Berg made the announcement at the Toronto Film Festival. He stated, “Everybody’s going to come back for a sequel.” Adam Fierro and Glan Mazzara will write the script.

They report that Berg said, Will Smith and Theron will once again play immortal gods who lose their powers when they are in each other’s presence. They are going to have to team up to deal with a third entity. The sequel is also going to explore the 3,000 year old world that they are from.

Jason Bateman is going to return as the PR exec who helped Hancock change his drunken image in the original. Sony hasn’t set a release date yet. They are waiting for the script to be completed. Read the rest of this entry »

The world’s # 2 tennis player in the world, Serena Williams lost to Kim Clijsters 6-4,7-5 tonight at the 2009 US Open Tennis Championships in their semi-final match. What was really interesting is the way she lost it. Aside from Serena Williams just being outplayed by Kim,she actually officially lost due to a code violation for bad sportsmanship.

Serena was serving at 5-6,15-30 in the second set. Then she double faulted because the line judge called a foot fault on her. This made the score 15-40. After that, Serena lost her temper,and went over to the line judge,pointed her racquet at her,and started swearing and cussing at her.

We were able to pick up what she said on the numerous replays. The main thing she said was, that she would shove the tennis ball down her throat. That’s what we caught,and there were also some cuss words that were bleeped out. Read the rest of this entry »

According to Cinemablend, Disney has announced the title of its upcoming “Pirates of The Caribbean 4″ movie at the D23 Expo in Los Angeles this weekend. It will be entitled, “On Stranger Tides.” So the full title will be “Pirates of The Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides.”

It’s scheduled to go into production soon,they report. While the full plot hasn’t been revealed as of yet, It’s been reported that they are casting aside Will and Elizabeth’s characters and are making it an all Jack Sparrow movie. Read the rest of this entry »

Tyler Perry in conjunction with Lionsgate released “I Can Do Bad All By Myself” this weekend. It’s a drama / comedy movie which featured Tyler Perry’s funniest character, Madea. It was extremely hilarious,yet had a strong story, filled with drama.

The movie revolved around three parentless children,and their aunt with occasional funny scenes from Madea. The kids break into Madea’s home one night,and try to still her vcr. Madea catches them,and takes them to her aunt April’s (Taraji P. Henson) house to demand the cash for her broken window and vcr.

They are eventually forced to stay with April after their grandmother and mother have died. There’s just one problem, April is selfish, doesn’t like kids, and is sleeping with a married man, mostly because he helps to pay her bills. Read the rest of this entry »
