According to USA Today, Lady Gaga and Kanye West’s “Fame Kills” concert tour has been canceled. They had apparently just announced dates for it a few days ago,and then it abruptly got canceled today.

It was going to kick off on November 10 in Phoenix,and run through at least January of next year. They report that Live Nation announced the news in a brief statement earlier today,but they did not give any explanation as to why it happened. Refunds are available for the people who purchased tickets for the tour.

Just last month,Kanye West made top headline news by cutting off country music star, Taylor Swift’s award acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. I wonder if him trying to get over the repercussions of that might have something to do with the abrupt cancellation. Hmmm.

They report that the publicists for both Kanye West and Lady Gaga did not return any requests for comments. A rep for “Live Nation,” said there was no further information available.
