The CW got a chance to sit down with Hilary Duff (video below) who is guest starring on “Gossip Girl” for a few episodes. She said that she’s been a huge fan of the show since the beginning,and she went on to describe her role of playing her character, Olivia Burk on the show.
She says her character is a famous actress that’s always working a lot,and wants to have a normal college experience. Hilary said the situation is fun because it sort of hits close to home for her. She commented on how Tyra Banks is her co-star in the episode,and how they shoot scenes together in it.
She described how she’ll be rooming with Vanessa played by Jessica Szohr. She talks about how she hooks up with Dan Humphrey on the show. She says he’s one of the first guys that her character meets at school,and she’s surprised because he doesn’t know who she is. She finds it refreshing ,and they start to grow close.
She talked a little about the wardrobes she’ll be wearing for her “Gossip Girl” role. She talked about how she liked working in New York and that it’s different from working in L.A.. She concluded by talking about some of her other acting projects she has lined up.
