According to Access Hollywood, Jon Gosselin has emptied out him and Kate’s mutual bank account of $200,000,leaving her with only a mere $1,000. They say that Kate appeared on NBC’s “Today” show this morning, to talk about it. She revealed to them that she now, can’t sleep at night because she can’t pay the bills.

She stated, “I need that money to provide for them. We were in the position after our sextuplets were born that we could not pay our bills. We did the show to provide a better life for them. Never did I think I’d be back in the same position… I can’t sleep at night. I can’t pay my bills.”

They report that Kate has responded with legal action,and has gotten a lawyer to send him a letter demanding that he return the funds. The papers are set to be filed in Pennsylvania,later on today.

Kate revealed that it’s hard to talk to him, now,and thinks his lawyers might be the reason. She stated “Whenever we have a conversation and ‘solve’ things, he hangs up the phone and does something different. I simply cannot reach him. I think he’s receiving bad counsel. He’s always been one to listen to the one next to him.”

She also commented on how her kids love filming the show “Kate Plus 8″,and that it’s not harming them. She stated, “I told the kids over the weekend that we weren’t filming. Times eight, there was wailing and sobbing. They love the crew, they love the interaction, they love the events. It is not harmful to them. They are angry.”

Even though the divorce process is turning out to be nasty, Kate still has hope for Jon. She stated, “I’m still hoping at some point I’ll receive a phone call, and the old Jon is back.”

I don’t now about you,but for me,it sounds like Jon Gosselin is real jerk.
