CW’s “Smallville” episode 3 of season 9 is up next,and it’s entitled “Rabid,” and from the looks of it,things will start to pick up with Lois,Clark,and General Zod. We’ve got a few spoilers,along with a promo clip for the show, after the jump.

In “Rabid,” General Zod and his soldiers will release a virus into the air,which turns humans into zombies. The only way that it can be stopped,is to make an antidote from the blood of another Kryptonian.

Lois will eventually get infected with the virus,and Chloe will plead with Clark to donate his blood,in order to stop the epidemic even though it will blow his cover with General Zod. Also Clark will ask Lois to go on a dinner date,even though he denies that it is a date.

“Smallville” episode 3 of season 9 airs Friday October 9 at 7pm central time on the CW.
