Zac Efron Sports New Role In ‘Me And Orson Welles’ Movie Trailer

Freestyle Releasing is Featuring Zac Efron in new more dramatic role for their “Me and Orson Welles” movie. They’ve released a new movie trailer for it (below). It also stars : Claire Danes, Christian McKay, Ben Chaplin, Kelly Reilly, Eddie Marsan, Leo Bill, Imogen Poots, and Aidan McArdle.
“Me and Orson Welles” is based on a novel by Robert Kaplow, which is a story set in the world of the New York Theatre.Zac Efron plays a teenage student named Richard Samuels who gets lucky enough to play a minor role in the 1937 Mercury Theatre production of “Julius Caesar,” which is directed by a 22 year old genius named Orson Welles.
Richard has decided that he’ll work for free,and also has few uncomfortable run-ins with Orson Wells on the set. Robert Kaplow describes the story the best with the following : “This is the story of one week in my life. I was seventeen. It was the week I slept in Orson Welles’s pajamas. It was the week I fell in love. It was the week I fell out of love.”
“Me and Orson Welles” hits theaters on November 25,2009.
