Meghan McCain, the daughter of Senator John McCain apparently posted a really hot “Twitter” photo of herself last night,which sparked a lot of controversy.However, she stood up for herself and defended it. According to reports,she linked to it from her “Twitter” account.
The photo shows her wearing a tanktop,holding a copy of Andy Warhol’s biography. She also posted a tweet along with it,which referred to her “spontaneous night in.”
The pic quickly went viral,since she has well over ten thousand followers. As it quickly made its way around the net, she started posting follow-up messages,defending it.
She stated, “So I took a fun picture not thinking anything about what I was wearing but apparently anything other than a pantsuit I am a slut. What once was fun now just seems like a vessel for harassment” and “when I am alone in my apartment, I wear tank tops and sweat pants, I had no idea this makes me a “slut”, I can’t even tell you how hurt I am.”
Then, a little later on,she apologized,stating, “I do want to apologize to anyone that was offended by my twitpic, I have clearly made a huge mistake and am sorry 2 those that are offended.”
