Jay-Z To Perform ‘Empire State Of Mind’ At American Music Awards
Rapstar Jay-Z is set to perform “Empire State Of Mind” at the 2009 “American Music Awards.” He’ll be performing it live with Alicia Keys,again. So it’ll be an encore performance of the 2009 “MTV Video Music Awards” minus Lil Mama’s interruption. But who knows,she might show up to do it again.
Jay-Z is nominated for “Favorite Male Artist” and “Favorite Album.” Jay -Z is reportedly canceling his Austin,Texas appearance to do the performance at the 2009 “American Music Awards.”
The show’s producer, Larry Klein said he was thrilled that Jay-Z and Alicia Keys are going to perform at the awards. He stated, “We are thrilled to have Jay-Z and Alicia Keys on stage together for the 2009 American Music Awards. Both are such talented artists, it is sure to be a memorable performance.”
The 2009 “American Music Awards” are scheduled to be broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles,California Sunday November 22 at 8pm on ABC.

I love this song! I’m so glad that they will be performing again without Lil Mama lol.I think Alicia Keys is ready to takeover! She is sooo talented , she writes sings and plays her own songs…and she’s a great performer.
