The “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” movie people have hired a new actress named Kirsten Prout to play the vampire Lucy in the film,according to Access Hollywood and E! online. The Lucy character will be a part of the Jasper Hale (Jackson Rathbone) back story scene in the movie.

Kirsten Prout’s acting resume includes,playing Amanda in ABC Family’s “Kyle XY,” and she also co-starred with Jennifer Garner in the “Elektra” movie. “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” has currently been filming for the past two months,over in Vancouver,Canada. It was reported early on,that they would be finished filming it before the end of October,but I’m not so sure that will happen,now.

“Twilight Saga: Eclipse” is supposed to have more action,and a very dark tone to it. It hits theaters on June 30,2010. Meanwhile, the 2nd installment of the “Twilight Saga” movie series entitled, “Twilight Saga: New Moon” hits theaters on November 20,2009.
