Steve Phillips gets fired by ESPN over Brooke Hundley affair,according to Deadspin.com. They report the “Baseball Tonight” analyst and former Met GM was fired late last night by ESPN.

ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz stated, “Steve Phillips is no longer working for ESPN.His ability to be an effective representative for ESPN has been significantly and irreparably damaged, and it became evident it was time to part ways.”

They also report that Josh Krulewitz would not make a comment on the status of Brooke Hundley’s employment with ESPN. I’m guessing it doesn’t look very bright,if at all.
