Billy Bell Drops Out Of Fox ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Show
Billy Bell drops out of Fox “So You Think You Can Dance” show due to an unspecified illness,according to various sources. They report that the 19 yr old Billy Bell will be replaced by 21 yr old hip hop dancer, Brandon Dumlao.
The executive producer/judge, Nigel Lythgoe said that he’s disappointed that Billy couldn’t continue on,by advice from his doctor,but is fortunate that Brandon Dumlao agreed to come back.
He stated, “We are disappointed that Billy cannot continue dancing in the competition on the advice of his doctor and wish him a speedy recovery.However, we are fortunate that Brandon Dumlao has agreed to return.”
That really sucks for Billy because I watched his auditions. He was really,really good,and could’ve very well won the competition this year. Oh,well I hope he can recover from his illness and return next season or something.

Billy Bell would have won this seasons “So You Think You can Dance” hands down. Billy stood out by far from all the others, his hand motions, leaps and landing were all superb. I am truly sorry to see him leave the competition. I and thousands will miss watching you command the stage. Get well Bill and I look forward to seeing you on Broadway.
If the rules are changed for Brandon and he is allowed to return & try out again next year the same courtesy should be extended to Billy Bell. He had to withdraw due to illness not injury. We want to see you back Billy. All of us are devastated that you won’t be showing us your incredible talent this season. Wishing you a quick & full recovery.
