Chief’s Larry Johnson Gets Suspended For His Gay Twitter Slur
Kansas City Chief’s Larry Johnson gets suspended for his gay “Twitter” slur,according to the Washington Post. They reported earlier this morning that the Kansas City Chief’s running back, Larry Johnson is barred from participating in any team-related activities until the NFL does an investigation on the comments that he made on “Twitter.”
The team made a written stated,which stated, “The Kansas City Chiefs and the National Football League are continuing to investigate the alleged comments made by Larry Johnson. Until that review is complete, the Chiefs have instructed Larry to refrain from practicing with the Chiefs or participating in other team activities. A decision regarding Larry’s status will be made once the investigation has concluded.”
Larry Johnson used a slur referring to the sexual orientation. The word he is reported to have used was “F#%got”. We’ll let you fill in the blanks. He used the word on Monday when he told them he would not speak to them until Thursday,and then he used it on “Twitter,” after the Chiefs lost to the San Diego Chargers on Sunday. The slurs were reportedly against his coach.
